Boqueria Food Market | Barcelona, Spain

The Boqueria Food Market is a  must see in Barcelona.  Check out the colorful array of foods from fresh fruits to empanadas to seafood.  It’s quite affordable too and a great way to try tapas style Spanish food on a budget.  My husband and I loved this market so much that we ended up having lunch here 2 days in a row.

    Delicious Ice Cream

    Sangria for just 2 Euros
Hot Guy selling fried fish... I bought Cod on a stick - DELICIOUS!
    Chocolate and Nuts

    Fresh Fruit Juices

I spent a lot of time enjoying Empanadas, my favorite item.
    Mushroom Empanada - so good.
Spinach Emapanada - my second favorite
    Eggplant Empanada - my favorite

Stopped at Pinotxo Bar which got great reviews, but I wasn't quite blown away. Finding a seat here is quite a wait.

Vegetables with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar.

Pasta with Sausage - we didn't eat the sausage since I don't eat red meat. Lack of vegetarian options.
