Vencia Boutique Hotel | Mykonos, Greece

TripAdvisor – Travelers’ Choice 2013 Top 25 Hotels in Greece

When in Mykonos, stay in Mykonos Town, that is where all the action is.  On my recent trip to Greece, I had the pleasure of staying at the recently renovated Vencia Boutique Hotel.  This 4 star luxury boutique hotel offers modern  accommodations, complimentary buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and an infinity pool overlooking the Aegean Sea.  Additionally, all 31 rooms offer private balconies with splendid views of the Aegean blue and Mykonos Town.

Located up on a hill, the Vencia Boutique Hotel is a short 7 minute walk to the center of Mykonos Town.  This lovely hotel is also home to one of the best restaurants in town - Karavaki - and I highly suggest making reservations in advance.  Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Vencia Boutique Hotel and it was my favorite accommodation out of all the hotels we lodged at on the Greek Islands.vencia boutique hotel mykonos

    RECOMMENDED STAY
    at least 3-4 nights

    VERDICT: 4.5 / 5
The hotel owners and staff were so gracious and warm at the Vencia Boutique Hotel.  Everyone was so helpful with directions or anything we needed.  I can’t rave enough about the service, the views, and Karavaki Restaurant which all made my stay very memorable.  In terms of rooms, the rooms are luxury, however don’t expect American luxury.  The rooms here are modern, clean, and meet the 4 star rating based on Greek Luxury.  I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Mykonos and I would most definitely stay here again.  Thank you to the hotel staff for a wonderful stay!

    Pros:
    Excellent & Comfortable Stay
    Rooms w/Balcony + Seaview (some)
Jaw Dropping Sunset Views + Mykonos Town
    Junior Suite Rooms are spacious
    Excellent Customer Service
    Excellent Staff – Warm/Friendly
Excellent Location – only 7 minute walk to the heart of Mykonos Town
    Meets 4 Star Rating
Outstanding Restaurant on hotel grounds – Karavaki open for lunch/dinner
The BEST Bartender – get one of Dimitri’s Killer Mojitos @ the Pool Bar
Pool Scene + Large Infinity Pool
Loungy/Zen Music by the Pool - hot!
    Complimentary Arrival/Departure Transfers to Airport/Port
    Complimentary American Buffet Breakfast
    Complimentary Wi-Fi
Staff Member walks you to your room

    Cons:
Steep Hill Down to Mykonos Town, Not Recommended for those with Small Kids (strollers) or Mobility Problems, lots of steps.
TV is very small, but I doubt you will watch TV in Mykonos.
American Coffee at Breakfast was just okay for me - lacked body.

Other Luxury Hotel Recommendations in Mykonos Town:
    The Belvedere
    Kouros Hotel & Suites
Bill & Coo Suites & Lounge
    Mykonos Theoxenia

Complimentary breakfast buffets are always a win! The views of this hotel are gorgeous...I'm loving the infinity pool too! I've never been to Mykonos but you've definitely sparked an itch! One thing's for sure: I know where I will be referring to for restaurant/hotel suggestions when I eventually do visit :)!

Beautiful hotel and I looked at the rates online: not too bad! It looks absolutely gorgeous and I'll have to refer to your series of posts when I travel to Europe next year.

Thanks Tara.. I actually thought the rates were a bit high, thought it would be a bit cheaper, but I guess I wanted the seaview rooms, maybe that is more. It's gorgeous though, I agree. Definitely worth it!

Holly scraps. You need to stop posting all of these amazing pictures. The blue deep colors are sensational and the food...well not even words to describe how jealous I am 🙂 I hope I can visit some day. Thanks for the informational post 🙂
