Indian Street Food

Indian Street Food is delicious. Some of my favorite classic street food items are Papdi Chaat, Aloo Tikki Chaat, and Bhel Puri. And of course, the famous Bombay Sandwich.

Unfortunately, when I visit India, I don’t have the luxury of eating Indian Street Food at a roadside dhaba, or else I’ll end up with an upset stomach. Instead, I head over to Haldiram’s for street food which caters to NRIs. Ahhh.. the joys of visiting motherland. 🙂

Bread Omelette

So what’s Bread Omelette, anyway?

If you’ve ever watched the roadside vendors make Bread Omelette, you’d be hooked. I had this dish years ago at a roadside vendor in Delhi and it was out of this world.

The bread is cooked directly with the eggs, allowing everything to bind together. Fresh vegetables like onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and green chilies are mixed in, along with Indian spices and cheese for added flavor.

Hope you guys give this delicious bread omelette recipe a try and pair it with a hot cup of masala chai. So good!
