Drinks @ Mondrian, SLS, & Delano | Miami Beach, FL

Miami is notorious for its kickass nightlife, and you’ll find some of the trendiest spots along Collins Ave in South Beach.  After getting all dolled up each night, we all headed to a restaurant for dinner, followed by drinks at a lounge, and finally headed to a club one night for dancing.  Regardless of where you dine or lounge, be sure to get a drink at the Delano at sunset, or anytime after that is perfectly fine too.  Make the effort to look your best because in South Beach (unfortunately) you do need to dress to impress at certain lounges & clubs since they have a reputation of turning people away.  Here to share with you are some of my favorite drink spots.  Enjoy!

1. Mondrian South Beach (drinks)

Take advantage of the delicious cocktails during Happy Hour (5 pm – 9 pm) each day, the drinks range from $5 to $9 based on the hour.

Mango Mojito & Lychee Martini – both excellent.mondrianLOCATION: 1100 West Ave, Miami Beach, FL.

VERDICT: 5 / 5
Loved the drinks and ambience, not too crowded.

2. SLS Hotel (drinks)

Pitcher of Mojito ~ enough for 8 to 9 glasses.mojito
LOCATION: 1701 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL.
MENU: Bar Centro menu
COST: $$$
VERDICT: 3.5 / 5
Didn’t love the mojito, it tasted a bit off, probably because we ordered a pitcher for our group as opposed to single drinks.  Loved the vibe at this hotel though, will definitely visit again for lounging, perhaps for staying too.  Hot!

3. Delano (drinks & clubbing)
Swanky hotel.  Awesome clubbing scene.  Dress up, live it up, and have fun!delanodelano backdelano pool
The Club

Mango Martini, Mojito, Mango Mojito – loved the drinks at Delano.

LOVED Loved loved the Delano!  The drinks were amazing, the hotel is romantic and gorgeous, the club was awesome, and the music was fabulous.  I acted as though I was on Spring Break, overall a great night!

TELL ME: Have you been to Miami Beach?  Where have you lounged/clubbed?

Suddenly Will Smith's playing in my head: "Party in the city where the heat is awnnn, all night on the beach till the break of dawn " ;)! Haha i'm such a dork! The nightlife in Miami sounds awesome. I'm normally a wine or vodka/soda drinking but I can hardly turn down a flavored martini (preferably apple).

I know right, welcome to Miami! Nightlife in Miami was awesome… I'm a cocktail girl or a tea girl… no soda. 🙂 Love Apple Martinis too, I requested it but they didn't have the mix.
