Park & Sixth specializes in good ol’ American Comfort Food… Mac-N-Cheese, Buffalo Wings, Chicken Parmesan, and of course, their specialty Burgers and Fries, just to name a few. Come here hungry!
I dined at Park & Sixth on a Thursday night and was pleasantly surprised that the Wings were half off. Glad that I ordered them because the signature wings were the BEST I’ve ever had!
Great atmosphere decorated with street signs, old advertisements, and vintage photographs. The music here is old-school and the service is fantastic.
Appetizer:
Park & Sixth Wings in their Signature Sauce: The Buffalo Wings were steaming hot upon arrival and the sauce was creamy mixed with little chunks of Blue Cheese. Normally, I am not a fan of Blue Cheese, but this creamy buffalo sauce was not pungent at all with a slight kick and was absolutely divine. These are hands down the BEST WINGS I’ve ever eaten!
Buffalo Fries: I just had to try the Buffalo Fries since I’m obsessed with anything made with “buffalo sauce.” Although the sauce was delectable, the fries were way too greasy and not crispy enough.
Entrees:
The Beast Burger: An explosion of flavors which consists of 1/2 pound ground short rib, American cheese, lettuce, bacon, caramelized onion, chipotle mayo, ketchup, & a runny fried egg. Clearly, it is loaded, and so if you’re going to order this, you better be hungry! Both my friend and I thought The Beast was delicious, but it was quite heavy for our personal taste. The caramelized onions and chipotle mayo took this burger to a whole new level. Additionally, all burgers at Park & Sixth are served with a choice of fries or salad.
Sweet Potato Fries: Crispy, not greasy. Spot on!
Turkey Burger: Prepared with lean ground turkey, Asian spices, Pepper Jack cheese, roasted red pepper and Aioli. I’ve dined at Park & Sixth twice before and both times I ordered the Turkey Burger which is succulent, tender and you can really taste the Asian spices and ginger. It was amazing! The Turkey Burger is a must-do!
Brussels Sprout Hash: Comes with the burger. The hash is lightly fried and topped with Parmesan cheese and lemon. Juicy and incredibly delicious.
Dessert:
Banana Bread Pudding: Moist with a prominent cinnamon flavor and a little Brandy flavored whipped cream off to the side. The bread pudding was just okay for me.

VERDICT: 4.25 / 5
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Park & Sixth. The food here is solid, warm, and comforting. Come here hungry and you will leave satisfied. Additionally, the prices are more than reasonable. In my opinion, what sets this restaurant apart from others is the service that I have received on three separate occasions, which has always been attentive and friendly. My most favorite items were the Buffalo Wings and Turkey Burger. On my next visit I’d like to try the Mac-N-Cheese, Parmigiana Fries, and Tokyo Joe’s Guacamole with Wasabi. A gem in Jersey City, will definitely be back.
