1. Trader Jacques’ Fleur de Sel Caramel Sauce @ Trader Joe’s
I refuse to make caramel sauce at home with heavy cream, but I have tried a milk version and it turned out okay. When I spotted Caramel Sauce at Trader Joe’s the other day, I was so excited, mainly because each serving size (1 tablespoon) only had 2.5 grams of fat. Not so terrible. TJ’s caramel sauce has a slightly sweet-salty taste and is made with milk & cream. So far, I’ve used it as a topping on my sliced bananas, but the possibilities are endless. ~ $3.49 @ Trader Joe’s
After 5 months, I finally decided to open my jar of Crema all’ Aglio that I purchased from the Cinque Terre region of Italy. In Italian, “crema” means cream, “aglio” means garlic, not to mention a ton of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in this dip. Cream-garlic-oil = heaven! It goes perfectly over French/Italian bread. My husband and I have been eating a little bit everyday, they only last about a week. I’m sure you can get a similar version at Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s. ~ 6 Euros @ Monterosso al’ Mare (Cinque Terre), Italy
3. Set Fire to the Rain by Adele
Regardless of whether you’ve experienced a devastating break-up (or not), I’m pretty sure there isn’t a single person who doesn’t love Adele who is famous for her painful break-up songs. There is a saying that whoever broke her heart made her rich as hell, obviously not many women can turn their pain into fortune, but imagine how freakin’ rich most women would be if that were possible? Her music has touched so many all over the world, including myself. I absolutely love Adele’s latest song – Set Fire to the Rain – such a powerful voice, beautiful lyrics, and she sings with such honesty and passion. Don’t forget to watch the Grammys this Sunday – she’ll be performing. Click play and “attempt” to sing along…
