Friday’s Favorite Things – 1.6.11

1. Uggs Bailey Button Boot (purchased in gray)

I love Uggs, but didn’t own a pair for the longest time and so I figured I’d just add it to my Christmas wishlist.  Luckily, my husband took notice and bought me my very first pair of Uggs.  They are so cute and super comfortable, I love them!  Gift to me from my hubby  ~ $160 @ Ugg Australia

2. Laptop Case & Wireless Mouse (purchased in hot pink)

Yes, I’m such a girly girl at times, sometimes I mistaken that for being a kid at heart.  Well, whatever!  A couple months ago I saw my brother using a wireless mouse and I was shocked they existed and I didn’t even know about it.  Where have I been?  I mentioned this to my husband and he was like, “yeah, they have been out for a while.  Do you want one?”  Of course, I exclaimed, YES!  In addition to the wireless mouse, in pink may I add, my husband also bought this adorable laptop case in HOT PINK.  I love the foam padded laptop case, it’s soooo girly and pretty!  Gift to me from my hubby  ~ $31 (laptop case); $22 (wireless mouse) @ Amazon

3. Wilton Nonstick 6-Cavity Donut Pan
Quite honestly, I never knew donut pans were sold until I visited Jessica’s blog – How Sweet It Is.  Once I spotted the Baked Red Velvet Doughnuts recipe on her blog, I was sold.  I made these yummy donuts for my husband’s birthday this past week – see here.  These Wilton donut pans seem to be a craze in the baking world.  ~ $12 @ Amazon

That laptop case is SO cute- love it! Congrats on your first pair of Uggs..you can say goodbye to wearing any other shoes from now on ;)! This week I am loving ice…more than painkillers/anti-inflammatory creams, ice seems to doing the trick with easing the pain of shin splints! Sometimes simple really is best!

I am actually benching my Uggs since they provide 0 ankle support! They're good for short trips or relaxing, but too much walking and my injured ankle starts to ache.

    Good job hubby!

I want some Uggs, in the exact same color and style that you have. Maya has the same ones! I am jealous of both of you. 🙂

Thanks guys! I'll be wearing my Uggs today for the first time – I hope my ankle doesn't hurt.
@Ameena – so Maya has pink and gray? I'm jealous too, I'm behind. 🙂
@Khushboo/@Parita – The wireless mouse is so cute, a little fast though, don't you think?

I've noticed that wishlists and hints work well with husbands so I'm using them to my advantage 😛

I recently discovered doughnut pans too and thought they're a god-send since I have avoided making donuts because of all the deep-frying it goes through. They're awesome!

My Aunty (helper) left 😞! Due to certain circum My Aunty (helper) left 😞! Due to certain circumstances, the past 10 weeks we hired temporary help and it was the best investment for us. It was a blessing that someone was even willing to help us during Covid. During this time, I was able to fully heal from a C-section and learned so much from Aunty on how to properly care for a baby. I’m grateful for the home-cooked Indian food she made for us, but no more roti subzi dal 😂. Most of all, I’m grateful for the way she took care of my little kishmish ❤️. Today is the first day I’m on my own and woke up at 5 am. Let’s see if I get on stories later today 😂. Thankfully Krish has been sleeping through the night (most nights). I’m still trying to adjust his schedule slightly so it’s inline with mine. The biggest adjustment for me will be sleeping early because I’m such a night owl 🦉. I’m one of those people who needs 7-8 hours of sleep to function else it really affects my day. Now you know why I desperately wanted that @nespresso machine 😆. This is a new phase in my life and I wanna cherish every moment with Krish. I’m excited to get on a schedule with him and take on this new role. I’m forced to be a morning person which is okay. It’ll be nice to see how much I’m able to accomplish during the day between feedings, playtime, slobbery kisses 😘, cooking quick meals, blogging, and squeezing in time to workout and shower. I know some days will be harder than others and I’ve accepted that I may not accomplish anything some days. I have to learn Time Management from you moms so any tips on that would be really helpful. I got this, but still, wish me luck! ❤️ #krishandnish #newmom #motherhood #justthetwoofus #mybaby #momlife #babyhoneywhatscooking #10weeksold #timemanagement #loveofmylife #desiinfluencer #desigirl
