1. Trader Joe’s Garlic Chipotle Salsa
This is easily one of the best salsas at Trader Joe’s. I love the garlic and chipotle flavors in this salsa with a hint of spice. At just $3 a jar, this delicious salsa is low in sugar, however it is a bit high in sodium, 2 tbsp is 180mg. Regardless, I’m still buying it, but eating it in moderation. Love.
2. Trader Joe’s Creamy Almond Butter NO SALT
This nut butter is one of my favorite items at Trader Joe’s. It’s creamy and not too sweet with a bold almond flavor. Trader Joe’s Almond Butter is made with a combination of mostly almonds and some cashews. I love eating almond butter with banana, toast or oatmeal. TJ’s Almond Butter is low in sugar, contains 3g of fiber and 7g of protein per serving – YES! Just make sure you get unsalted creamy, it’s the best! Love.
3. Trader Joe’s Harvest Blend Salad
I love this seasonal salad all in one bag at Trader Joe’s. A combination of baby kale, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin spice cornbread croutons, and pumpkin vinaigrette. It really is the vinaigrette that makes this salad. The list of ingredients is long which I’m not too crazy about, but since this is a seasonal item, I’ll probably just buy the pumpkin vinaigrette dressing and make the actual salad at home. Love.
4. Trader Joe’s Organic Tomato & Roasted Red Pepper Soup
This delicious soup from TJ’s is just too good to be true in terms of the taste, fat, calories and protein. The disappointment here is this soup is high in sodium at 750mg per serving, ouch. I dilute the soup with a little water which alters the thickness of the soup very slightly, however the taste isn’t compromised. The Roasted Red Pepper Soup goes so well with a grilled cheese sandwich. Love, but high in sodium.
5. Trader Joe’s Cranberry Walnut Gorgonzola Dressing
I am so not a fan of gorgonzola cheese, the pungent cheese taste is just repulsive to me. In this Cranberry Walnut Gorgonzola dressing, you can hardly even taste the gorgonzola which is a good thing. I love the sweetness from the cranberries, the tanginess from the cheese combined with the crunch from the walnuts. A good dressing to have during the holiday season. Like.
