1. The Sweetest Comment from Miti
This week I received such a sweet comment from Miti, one of my readers, who wrote…mitiThank you, Miti. I will continue cooking for life… gah, and posting as long as I enjoy doing it.  My blog gives me a purpose and brings me so much joy.  People like you inspire me to continue blogging.  Thank you for your sweet comment, you totally made my day!

2.  Wasabi Crunchy Chickpeas by Saffron Road @ Whole Foods
A few weeks ago Whole Foods had a special running on flavored roasted chickpeas  I picked up Bombay Spice and Wasabi.  The Bombay Spice tasted slightly off to me, it actually had a weird coconut flavor in it, but there was no coconut in the ingredient list.  Since I've tried the original spiced roasted chickpeas from the Indian grocery store, I felt the Saffron Road Bombay Spice flavor was a huge letdown.  On the other hand, the Wasabi flavor was insanely good, super intense.  My husband ate 5 of these at once and oh boy, he had a brain fart, and well the immature me couldn't stop laughing.  LOL!

Additionally these Saffron Road packets are Non-GMO verified and are made with organic chickpeas.  I'm so glad the Non-GMO labeling project has FINALLY taken off at Whole Foods, people need to be aware of what they are eating and try to eat foods that are NOT genetically modified.  ~ 2 for $5 @ Whole Foods photo 1 (1)

3. Gigi Flats by Sam Edelman  (purchased in Almond Patent)
I've been on the look out for nude flats for the longest time, and I finally purchased Sam Edelman's Gigi flats in Almond.  These cute flats are comfortable and have a very slight soft padding.  I especially love these flats somewhat blend with my skin tone.  They go well with just about anything since they are nude, but they also come in a wide range of pretty colors.  ~ $65 @ Zappos

  2. I am obsessed with those flats- SO so nice! I can definitely vouch for the versatility of nude flats- I got a pair of Ferragamo nude flats and they're more or less the only thing I've worn all summer! A favorite from my week the Sound of Music- I saw the play on Wednesday night, which was so lovely!

  10. So sweet of Miti! And she's right about you being an inspiration. Continue doing what encourages your creativity, Nisha :)

Blog readers are definitely so encouraging. I once received an email from a reader that cooked a full course dinner based on my recipes for his date. There's a fourth date in the future once the meal ended. I was so proud of him :)
