1. Estee Lauder’s Advanced Time Zone SPF 15
My normal/combination skin is more on the dryer side nowadays, hence I’ve been on the lookout for a cream based moisturizer that contains SPF and defies the aging process. So far I’ve been using the Time Zone moisturizer for normal/combination skin and my dry flaky skin is all gone. I’m not sure I look or feel any younger, but my skin definitely feels hydrated and moisturized. 🙂
This month Bloomingdales was offering a free gift with any $40 Estee Lauder purchase, and I wanted to give the Time Zone moisturizer a try, or maybe I just love the packaging. I’m a marketer’s dream. I’m not sure if I was more excited about the moisturizer or the gift. Anyway, since Bloomies is no longer offering a free gift with a purchase, check out Nordstrom for a similar gift. ~ $65 (1.7 oz.) @ Nordstrom
2. Moroccan Oil Moisture Repair Shampoo & Conditioner
At my salon my hairdresser always uses the Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner on my hair, and each time I ask her what is that divine smell? If you own the Moroccan Oil Treatment and love the smell of it, I can guarantee you will love the smell of the Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner. This stuff smells SENSATIONAL, I get so excited to wash my hair now. Since I’ve been using these products, the texture of my hair has improved, it just feels so soft and moisturized. Both the shampoo and conditioner are free of sulfates, phosphates, and parabens. Just FYI, since there are so many fake versions out there, you want to purchase the Moroccan Oil products from a professional salon or directly from the MoroccanOil website. ~ $22 each (8.5 fl.oz.) @ most professional salons
3. French Toast Mini Cupcakes @ Baked by Melissa
Each month Baked by Melissa has a new flavor of the month, this month it is French Toast. On my walk home I picked up a few cupcakes to share with my husband. Each French Toast cupcake is filled with blueberry filling and then topped off with Cream Cheese Frosting. Overall, the cupcake was delicious, but a tad bit sweet, I still loved them though. Baked by Melissa is overpriced for a one bite mini cupcake, but they taste good and are only about 50 calories each. ~ $1 each @ Baked by Melissa, New York City (Columbus Circle & other locations)
