The Olympics is airing tonight from my second favorite city in the world. Yes, that would be LONDON! I’m beyond excited, and I wish I could have been there to join in all the fun and commotion that comes with it. I love the Summer Olympics and I’m most looking forward to the Gymnastics and Swimming portions. Tonight I’m rushing home to order and eat some Buffalo Chicken Pizza & Wings as I tune in to watch the Opening Ceremony, my husband will be working, but I’ll share my pizza with him. It’s very surprising to me a company would schedule “major work” after hours for their employees on the first night of the Olympics! Who does that? Only in America! In any case, doesn’t the Tower Bridge look so gorgeous all lit up? Love London! And now let’s hope the USA brings home the GOLD! 3 weeks of nonstop fun ~ priceless!
2. Dress Viento Straight-Cut Pleats Dress @ Mango (purchased in blue)
When I saw this dress at Mango, I fell in love. I particularly loved the pleat cut on this simple dress… kinda unique. Ideally, I would have liked to purchase this dress in red, but since they didn’t have my size, I settled for royal blue. Gorgeous color and it would look cute with blue/golden flat sandals (as shown below) or classy nude pumps. This lovely Tory Burch Gold Clutch would seal the deal for an evening look. Love! ~ $46 @ Mango
3. Caspian Sandal by DV by Dolce Vita (purchased in bright blue)
Dolce Vita makes beautiful sandals at a reasonable price, but sadly most of their shoes start at size 6 and higher. Currently, I’m in loveeeeee with these DV Archer flat sandals that come in pretty much every color, I fell in love even harder once I saw them on Kim Kardashian’s feet. Unfortunately though, they start at size 6 which doesn’t work for me. I found a similar Dolce Vita pair in a smaller size – the Caspian Sandal. Seriously, everyone should own a pair of these DV Archer Sandals if size is NOT an issue, else settle for the Caspian Sandal. ~ $50 (sale) for Caspian @ DSW or ~ $69 for Archer @ Zappos
