Tonight I’ll be heading to San Juan, Puerto Rico for my good friend’s, KP, Bachelorette Party! I met KP in college where we both studied together and got through those dreadful Computer Science classes. It’s been over 10 years since college and I’m so happy she’s found that special someone to spend her life with. I’m also so excited to be a part of my all my friend’s celebrations leading up to her special day. Congrats KP!
And now let’s talk PR! This is my fourth visit to Puerto Rico and it seriously never gets old. The island of Puerto Rico holds a special place in my heart for various reasons, and hence this place will always feel like home to me. Each time I visit I look forward to strolling the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan, relishing every bite of the flaky mallorca at La Bombonera, sipping the most exotic Kama Sutra martini at Tantra, enjoying the traditional spices and flavors of Puerto Rican mofongo, absorbing the sun on the gorgeous beach of Isla Verde, and so much more. The food, culture, and people of Puerto Rico make me happy, and it’s no surprise why this island of enchantment always tops the list as one of the happiest places on earth! I’m hooked for life! ~ priceless
2. Slash Neck Lace Dress @ Asos (purchased in black)
For my friend’s Bachelorette Party, we were each given three instructions, one of them was to bring a black dress while our “bachelorette” shimmers in gold. I believe I may be one of the few individuals who doesn’t actually own a “little black dress,” until now! I went ahead and purchased this pretty little black dress with sheer lace overlay. This dress was purchased from ASOS, a UK based company which carries many European and American brands, in addition, they offer FREE shipping and FREE returns! Highly recommended. ~ $75 @ Asos
3. Low-Fat Yogurt Oatmeal
This past week was all about keeping it healthy and attempting to eat breakfast like a “normal” person should, at least a couple days. On my way to work, I picked up granola oatmeal which was made with low-fat yogurt. Who knew oatmeal could taste this good with yogurt, all this time I’ve been making it with milk, but I seriously have to give yogurt a try. The granola and variety of fruits in the oatmeal helped in sweetening up this delicious and healthy breakfast. ~ $4 @ NYC Deli
DISLIKE OF THE WEEK
Hmmm… I’m really at a loss for words here. I haven’t eaten anything horrible this week so can’t complain about that.
