1. Insomnia Cookies – Cookie Dough Brownie
Last week my new friend, Bin, treated me to Insomnia Cookies and insisted I try their Cookie Dough Brownie – her favorite. History on this Bakery: the guys at Insomnia started out baking cookies at the University of Pennsylvania and delivering milk & cookies on campus. Their business took off and today there are locations on college campuses nationwide, including NYU. This decadent brownie is served warm with a big scoop of cookie dough on top. What a lethal combination – brownies and cookie dough?
In all honesty, although I really enjoyed this brownie I can’t say I absolutely loved it. The cookie dough didn’t have that authentic flavor one would expect of cookie dough so it just tasted very sweet. Having said that, I do plan on visiting Insomnia Cookies to try some more of their delicious looking treats, hence why this brownie made Friday’s Favorite Things! Also, a special thank you to my friend who treated me! ~ $3 @ Insomnia Cookies, West Village, New York City (near NYU – find your school)
2. Express – Shawl Collar Flyaway Cardigan
I’m a little Express Obsessed! I already have this flyaway cardigan in black and I loved it so much that I purchased one in gray as well, luckily it was on sale. The best part is it goes with everything, especially skinny jeans. This cardigan is ideal for work or a casual night out. ~
$45 sale $32 @ Express
3. Subway’s – Oven Crisp Chicken Sandwich
Sometimes during my lunch hour I will head to Subway. I recently tried Subway’s Oven Crisp Chicken Sandwich, meaning it is baked, NOT fried. The sandwich was super yummy and pretty healthy too. I ordered a 6 inch Whole Wheat Sub with oven crisp chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, pickles, and spicy mustard. So so good! Give this sandwich a try the next time you are at Subway! ~ $5.50 @ Subway
