The Purple Smoothie... Blackberry Banana & Peanut Butter Smoothie

Today was a long day!  It was raining heavily in the Tri-State area so driving back from work was stressful.  Seriously, some drivers drive like maniacs.  I don't understand how some people can drive at 60 mph on a bridge in pouring rain.  Aren't they worried their car will skid?  They don't even drive SUVs!  So scary!  I'm so paranoid driving after my accident, I was patiently cruising at 40 mph.  I don't take chances anymore and I'm fine getting home 10 minutes late.  Whew!

On a pleasant note, whenever I visit my Mom she gives me some kind of food... it could be her delicious parathas (Indian flatbreads) or subzi (Indian vegetables) or even fruits.  Believe it or not, my Mom will buy extra fruits that I love if she knows I'm visiting.  I recently went home for a stay over and she handed me blackberries.  I was like, "no, what am I gonna do with blackberries?"  And then I remembered I'm trying to be healthy and eat more fruits... so I gladly accepted!  Of course, I made a smoothie and added banana to it.  I also decided to throw in some peanut butter.  So good and filling!  Btw... don't cha love the color on this smoothie... it's like midnight purple!
