Today I had a wonderful day! I headed to New York City to visit my cousin’s wife (who is more like a sister and friend to me), Nandini, and her sweet, angelic, pretty, baby girl. Knock on wood! I worked from home earlier in the day and made some time to whip up two items for Nandini, this way she wouldn’t have to worry about dinner… yeah, I can be sweet like that. 🙂 I decided to make Aloo Poha and Aloo Tamatar Gravy, let’s just say, I had a pretty hectic morning.
I made a little something for myself too. For breakfast today I had a blueberry cranberry smoothie. I felt so good consuming all antioxidants in this drink. So after all the cooking, working, a stroll, a train, and a cab ride away, I arrived at my destination. I can’t do this good deed for everyone, but I certainly “will” do it for the ones dear to me, just not everyday… hehe! I get tired! We ended our night putting the baby to sleep followed by dinner and wine on the balcony. Sounds romantic, right? It was so fun!
